I agree NFC is superior, I said so in my post. But the quote came from the article. I find that reason BS. That's all I was pointing out. I think having a better and faster method to pay for online stuff is  good reason enough, no need to make stuff up. Which is what the article pretty much did when it said using the gamepad was frustrating to enter credit card info when most gamers use regular controls and don't really complain about it. Gamepad made it much simpler than a regular controller.
