Looking at the current Halo 4 player population levels I think it's safe to assume that Halo 5 will not provide the boost needed to push X1 ahead of PS4 for one month.

The Halo 4 population levels aren't a good measure of how popular Halo is. The multiplayer had lots of problems and many fans were disappointed with it.
