Reading comprehension isn't that difficult. Let me break this down for you, Mike:
ioi admits that VGChartz figures differ from Chart-Track. He's asking you not to come out and say, "hey guys, your figures differ from Chart Track! Did u know? Lol!" It's insulting. What is there to disagree with? he's not asking you to cheerlead, as you say, and you're basically putting words into his post that weren't there.
You obviously have no idea how much work goes into getting these figures. Further, Chart Track isn't perfectly accurate either. If you look at more numbers -- such as shipments, Chart-Track, and VGChartz own internal data, you're likely to increase the accuracy of the equation.
The point of VGChartz doesn't seem to be compiling numbers from the sources, as it originally was. The point of VGChartz is now to collect their own data in addition to the compilation. Having another source of collected data, even if it is most likely less accurate than existing sources, is still valuable. That's the whole point.
