I don't want more focus on combat coming back to the main series, certainly not hack 'n slash. It's fine for a spin off, but the main series should remain more of a puzzle action adventure. Optional co-op in a Zelda game would be great however.

They have shown an image of co op with one player on the tv and the other on the gamepad screen.

I hope you can also do splitscreen though.

Yes, or a small pip window on the tv of what the other person is seeing so you know where they are.
My son likes to play on the gamepad when we're playing the lego movie game. But then I have no idea where he is off too, while he can still see where I am on the tv.
