Most of Canada's population lives right at the border. Toronto is actually south of Seatle/Washington. The tempertures here are roughly the same as in any of the New England states, maybe 2 C colder, but the lakes keep things mild.

Detroit is pretty bad, there are a lot of muggings/stray dogs/litter and a lot of abandoned houses falling apart. When I went to Miami I got a completely different feel, it was very clean and enpensive.

Detroid basically is like a 3rd world city, I've been to Africa before, except for the heat and lack of Wal-mart's, I think Detroit is worse and I'm being serious.
