The big difference between the 2 is in their first party game sales. Nintendo has plenty of games that have broke into the million seller range. 3 of them went over 2 million. First party game sales means more profit per sale vs 3rd party games. And since most of their games keep sensible budgets they see more of a return on their games. It might not be the gigantic AAA game budgets like Destiny's 500 million but it doesn't matter as long as the games make enough sales to be profitable.
