think of it as an mmo where creating a group ingame is limited to three members.

Or just go to tower and see a few hundred people at any given time.

I played a MMO called Diablo 2 for years. Yup, it's a MMO.

You had a chatroom, split up between servers where you also had other chatrooms within it. No big central hub like Destiny. When you went to actually play you would make or join a room. Up to 8 people could join in your game.

 

So Destiny doing something almost entirely similar = Not MMO , meanwhile Diablo 2 was. Yet Destiny, even if you join a game BY YOURSELF, still has other gamers participating in your gaming sesson. This was not the case with Diablo 2.

I would like to hear Raziel explain the big difference between the two, especially since I have played both.
