This new found certainty of Nintendo fans that the Wii U will end up 2. is kinda unfounded

Don't know what you mean. To me, and any other Xbox fan with self respect, will use the totals of WiiU and X1 sales found on the vgchartz homepage. No aligned launch bs numbers. I ain't stooping to their level.

so ignoring pertinent data is stooping to a level? sounds about right. 

Even if you dont stoop to a level I cant see how you can think X1 will pass Wii U if that is the case because its still almost 2mil behind and WIi U has been outselling it recently.
