Seems like you are trying to downplay it by twisting the situation. Halo has absolutely nothing to do with this. Cause PS fans could hate halo all they want but they went into buying a PS knowing there will NEVER be a halo game on their console.
If this weren't a new IP, I would say a better example would be GTA4 on the 360. With all that exclusive DLC. But Destiny isn't GTA4. What is really big here is Bungie. This would have been the equivalent of Naughty dog leaving sony then going multiplatform and favoring MS with their new IP. Or polyphony digital dropping the GT franchise and going multiplat then making Project cars but with XB1 favoritism.
Everyone that knows XBOX knows Bungie. We can say the xbox brand was built on the shoulders of bungie. MS literally lost the biggest, best and most profitable developer and now it seems that said developer is laying its lot with sony. That can't be good. The studios behind MS two biggest games have changed. Halo and Gears. Can you imagine how bad it would be for MS if Halo turns out to be a flop?

Doesn't get closer/beyond than Insomniac games no longer developing exclusively for Playstation and creating an EXCLUSIVE AAA for Xbox one. :)

Insomniac saw eye to eye with Sony and still do besides IP issues, but Sony hasnt seen fit to purchase them. I don't find their games to have ever been worthy of a AAA budget from Sony. They are quite lucky to have had such a relationship. As for Bungie....they couldn't wait to get away from Microsoft because unlike Sony with Insomniac, MS doesn't endorse creativity. They have you working on one IP for the rest of your days. If a company runs to Activision oer MS this is saying something.
