Netflix and its a garbage service now. They just raised the price and it still has a shit library of movies. Ads would be great for Netflix if it lead to a better selection of movies.

Most ads I see are on my computer and phone because those are the devices I browse the web on. If you don't want ads on Xbox, just stay offline I guess. That's a logical thing to do.

I avoid TV because I hate sitting through ads. I listen to podcasts instead of listening to the radio because I hate waiting for ads. I use VGChartz with Adblocker because the ads make my computer run like shit. The Xbox ads are there but they don't hurt my experience with that console, so I'm indifferent about them.
