So I was looking through Watch Dogs numbers and I was suprised. In a good and bad way. The PS4 version sold more than 2 million in as of July 12 2014 which is great. The other versions not so much. PS3 and XB1 were at 1m and the XB360 was at 0.77m. I was pretty suprised how low it was compared to PS4.
So Ubi put in the resources for the XB1 version for it to sell only 1m in 2 months. So it average around 160k a week but obviously it was more like around 700k the first week and then dropped really bad. I wondered how much Ubi expected from the Wii U version. I think it will be okay if it sold at least 350k the first week so that it can sell around 600k in two months which is decent for a late and probably gimped game.
In conclusion, I feel Watch Dogs hasnt lived up to sales expectations except on PS4.
