disney should buy them.
disney has the financial depth to weather an occasional flop for an otherwise amazing studio. they also no well how to merch a product for additional profitablility and ghibli has such a wealth of amazing characters. plus who wouldn't be excited for ghibli land at disney world!
anyways,. sad if true.
edit: actually no. they should put that into tokyo disneyland.
