Yes, yes, a game like Stadium/2/XD/BR, the new rumored whatever (not a fan of that ''pokken'' idea but it's ok), yes, a game like that WILL be on Wii U, i bet my flawless Spiritomb (hey i love that guy) it will; A remake/remaster of a main game or even crazier a new game that sketches (notice the reference) what we see on handhelds, i bet my flawless Spiritomb again, WILL NEVER happen.

Ah, but see, a remake is a little different from the other cases (new "main game"). Ocarina of Time 3D was done by an external studio, and they didn't need to come up with new content, they just needed to adapt existing content. The same could be said of a remake of Fire Red/Leaf Green - adapting existing content (perhaps with a bit of extra content, but only for the sake of connecting things up to the other games).

Beyond the story and the base gameplay, the only "downside" to a console remake is that you can't just take your pokemon with you when you leave the house... except that, since most Wii U owners will probably have a 3DS, they could just have a connectivity option that allows you to put your pokemon on your 3DS, which could then be able to battle against others in a little mini battle simulator and trading system. Not to mention that they could also make use of the Amiibo system and have a Pokeball Amiibo included with the game that lets you store some pokemon in it, allowing you to take your pokemon with you.

It's certainly achievable, and it would neatly address concerns that Game Freak has. Besides, XD and Colosseum were basically the same in terms of overall structure as the main games, just with a few twists and no regular wild pokemon. And I'd expect a third Orre title to move more towards the main game style anyway, since Orre seemed to be transitioning towards a gym system and was attracting wild pokemon in XD.
