Not with what they showed at E3. Zelda and Xenoblade. And a bunch of smaller games. That's it. The 3DS had like six games in 2013 that reached that tier. I just don't see how people can look at the Wii U's 2015 with optimism. I mean a new Zelda will be out, and we'll finally get Xenoblade late, but that's it.

3DS 2013 had X & Y, A Link Between Worlds, New Leaf, Dream Team and that's about it. 4 games (5 if we consider the Wii port).
Wii U 2015 has Xenoblade, Zelda Wii U, Splatoon, Kirby, Yoshi and maybe Star Fox.
I never said the Wii U would be better than the 3DS - instead I used the word "favorite".
From those 2013 releases for the 3DS, only Pokémon and Zelda were must-buys for me, though I really want to give New Leaf a chance when I get the money. However, from the 5/6 games mentioned for the Wii U, I'm definitely getting 3/4.

3DS 2013 also had Luigi's Mansion, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, Fire Emblem: Awakening, Castlevania: LOS, Professor Layton, and Bravely Default. That's 10 huge games, not counting DKCR: 3D. The Wii U has Xenoblade, Zelda, Splatoon, Kirby eshopware, Yarn Yoshi, and maybe Starfox. That's 6 games, one that probably won't be out by next year as it's literally not even built yet, one that doesn't deserve to be on the same "major release" list as Zelda and Xenoblade, and one that is barely a major release for a home console, but hey, we'll count it anyway. To me, that's 4 huge games. Xenoblade, Zelda, Splatoon, and Yarn Yoshi. The Wii U this year has more. DKC:TF, MK8, HW, Bayo2, and Smash 4.
I don't get how you can look at the 3DS's 2013, and then get the same feelings from the Wii U's 2015.
