What I'm saying is that, outside of Japan, less than five million people have bought a Musou game over the course of three console generations. Most people see the box, know nothing of it, and leave it. Nothing about Dynasty Warriors would stick out to Western audiences. Outside of the internet, I've only met two other people that have even heard of Dynasty Warriors, let alone played it.
Zelda increases exposure. Even among those in the know about Musou games, they think that if any Musou game would be good it would be Zelda. It's also the first Musou Nintendo has actively participated in creating.
