Besides, you can't say that for sure. Historically, a huge portion enterprises succeeded only because they dared to try what was mostly unasked for.
Did anyone asked for Mario in the 80's? For Pokémon in the 90's? Just imagine if Nintendo had opted to continue releasing Donkey Kong arcades instead of listening to the completely unasked work of Miyamoto or Tajiri...
