I'm not sure it works that way but I'd be glad if it did. Settings on console games would be nice. Lower resolution for improved effects or faster frame rate would go a long way towards improving console games now and in the future. I'm not sure about everyone else but when I play a game my computer is struggling with I lower the resolution and nothing else the frame rate does improve.
