| ExplodingBlock said: Recently with alot of peoples predictions, they said they think will think PS4 will sell over 100 million units While I admit, the PS4 is doing great but if you look at the sales of the PS3 it was selling 150k every week and that didn't even do 90m, plus it was on the market for 7+ years The only way I think it can pass 100m is if it is on the market for 9+ years and continues to sell after the PS5 comes out |
Yea, it was doing 150k....the last 3 years before the successor released. It was doing noticeably less than that before and still ended up with 80M+. Now the PS4, with it's 100K+ week in/week out sales at launch price......
Imagine what's gonna happen when it drops price and has a larger library. PS3 only recently got a $200 model, and it's barebones. A new PS3 (with actual features) is still $270. Before PS4/XBone launched, it was doing those kinds of numbers at $270. What would the more popular PS4 do at $300?
