So what? As had been mentioned, MK8 is an established multi-multi-million selling franchise and a game that has been eagerly awaited by fans since the Wii U was released. Watchdogs is a new IP that had its hype before release crushed due the visual downgrade rumours and delay.
Its not exactly an outstanding achievement if MK8 manages to outsell Watchdogs. It'd be like getting hyped over GTA outselling W101, hell just prior to release I think W101 was more hyped by the Nintendo faithful than Watchdogs ever was on either PS4 or XB1.
I can see MK8 getting ahead of Watchdogs PS4 for a while but then falling back due to the faster growing PS4 userbase. Of course, if Nintendo bundle MK8 or Ubisoft release a Watchdogs 2 within the next 2 years, then MK8 will stay ahead.
