Without sales there's no revenue and without revenue there's no profit and without profit there's no company. So sales are the most important factor. Yeah that's true and all. Was just making the point sales don't have to be spectacular as long as they can hold up in the profits department. Most Xbox related profit for the time being will be due to the 360 but the Xbox One will start to contribute much more in the longer term.

Sorry, but Xbox has NEVER been profitable, EVER.  The ONLY reason they are showing profit lately, is because they are rolling it up in the same division with Surface and Windows Phone, and masking the losses with the money they extort from Android manufacturers!
