Wii U is around 6.6.. but the problem is.. that is after being on the market for 1 yr and 7 months.. PS4 and X1 have been on the market for 7 months. So the PS4 is almost 2 million ahead and the X1 is 1.8 million behind. Both are selling better then the Wii U if you look at the first 7 months of sales. With the Wii U not selling in numbers that will stop this trend. The Wii U has averaged 347k/month. The X1 685k/month and the PS4 is at a whopping 1.2 million/month. Just an FYI. The Wii U only sold 3.91 million units from launch until Sept 2013. That was only an average of 372k the first 10.5 months. So even the X1 is selling about 200k MORE a month the first several months in. The X1 numbers were with only a few weeks of $399 pricing and before having a larger global release in September. I just don't see where the Wii U will keep pace at this point. Unless the X1 blows this holiday season somehow I would have to think it will match Wii U's numbers by end of 2014 in total sales. Doing so in a year less time. The PS4 will be the clear winner though. |
theres 3 factors

Yea, look at sales so far for the x1, they droped of aa clift after the realease. Now look at this month WW, the Wii U came on top on the month of a pricecut with pent up may sales. So july will be much worst for the x1 while the wii u will saty ahead at least because hyrule wariors will be big in japan and when it comes to the west it will spike sales a bit. And I think it will stay ahead of the x1 for the reminder of the year cuz x1 is only selling in the US I dont think we have to wait much longer untill demand for the x1 drop even in the US, after all thouse multyplats come out on the ps4 the x1 sales wont be even a fourth of the ps4. And the Wii U will have a bunch off exclusives to push sales.
