Would you change it to "the user formerly know as Damkira"? ;)
I say keep it. People know and respect you as Damkira. I get confused (albeit temporarily) by people changing avatars, so imagine names. By the way, no body assumes you are a chick because Damkira is the mother. I doubt very many people got the reference. I certainly did not. :)
