I agree... it will switch the focus of games from full experiences into shallow party/entertainment games. If the Wii wins.. we all lose great games in ever genre. RPGs next generation will be something like save the world by doing some stupid puzzle, not fighting, gaining experience, collecting new weapons. Nope solving puzzles or something. You might be able to walk a character around but wont have a battle system it will be a puzzle fighting system.... lame.
It will kill so many genres its unreal. MMOs would die, RPGs would die, Racing.. will become stupid, FPSs will suffer from horrid controls, Sports... will die. Small party games, puzzle games, and other genres similar will grow. Who wants 1000000 Wii Sports or Wii Play like games? I'll quit playing console games and go back to PC where there will never be BS gimmicks like the Wii. Motion Sensing can be great but to much is a bad thing. The SixAxis is the perfect example of a balance between to much and to little.
