Yea, probably not. But for AMD, the can sell the high wattage chips. But for a semi-cutom, idk what they'll do with the extras. Each batch would be wasteful=costly, unless they disable stuff and repurpose them for something else.


They could probably try to sell them as smartphone chips or something, not sure if they would be competitive at that point. I just found this

Is that right? They were making a killing on that thing if so. They could've easily started that thing at 150-200 when it first released.
