That's what I'm looking forward to. I'd like to add Donkey, Diddy, Cranky, Funky, and Dixie Kong to my "Mon"-keys!
But seriously, keychain amiibo would be very appealing to a lot of adults. Some parents might like them for their children because they'd be less likely to be lost. Makes using your amiibo at a friends house or wherever much more simple. I hope they do it.
For a Skylanders/Infinity type price point, they're probably making nearly as much half the profit as they would selling a new game at full retail. That's a good thing though -- it means a higher amount of the new revenue is profit. And actually if people end up buying more amiibo than games, it doesn't work out to bad because Nintendo could earn higher profits even on a smaller revenue base.
