well yeah it will have far superior local multiplayer but... what about the online. That worries me after the face they recommended that you don't use wireless for it. And yes, Smash bros will suport Amiibo but heres the thing. So will the 3DS, not right away but it will so that is not a differece in the versions. Yeah it makes sense to build hype for the 3DS but at the same time, it is killing the hype for the Wii U version (at least for me and my friends it is).

Any online gamer will tell you that wired connections are infinitely better...thats just logic.

Anyways, there will be more to the game, that is essentially guaranteed. If you have every played a Sakurai before, you will know that he packs his games with content. There is still plenty of time to drum up hype for the Wii U version over the next ~5months and its pretty obvious that the Wii U version is the main version (pretty much all of the character reveal trailers and character images are from the Wii U version) so you really have nothing to worry about...

Yes I know that wired online is the best but the fact that they had to go out of their way and actually recommend it on a broadcast makes me wonder. How stable will this game be online? That's the problem. How  often do you see a company that has wireless things go out and tell you "oh, you might want to plug this in instead of wireless"? So far for me, Nintendo is now the first.
