and k1 is 300+ gigaflops and it looks to be on 28 nm.

I would lay off the Nvidia kool aid if I were you ... So many undelivered promises on the mobile front that it's actually kind of sad for them. 

It's probably JUST less than 11 watts but that doesn't mean it's not close to it. To put some more salt on the wound do note that Nvidia SoCs are very likely to throttle a lot of times meaning they won't perform consistently as advertised. 

Even if the Tegra K1 was manufactured on Intel's 14nm process node don't expect more than a 100% improvement in the performance per watt department. BTW a 3 watt TDP is excessive in the ultramobile form factor. 


Well you said we wouldn't be getting close to 200+ gigaflops with power usage at 3-5 watts until, what was it, 10nm? I think that's wrong.
