I think he meant stand along game, not series.  35 million is higher than 26 million(360/PS3 combined sales of MW3)

I think across all platforms, including PC digital sales, MW3 could be 35 million or more. But MW3 is the 8th game in the series and the series peak game. I think D3 or D4 will be that for the destiny franchise and 35 Millioon is possible at that point with the requisite [active] install base to achieve those sales.
