Better than having two separate golf games. In the unlikely scenario that nintendo were to have the idea of making a zelda golf game, yes I'd seriously prefer them just expand mario golf to include more characters.

Hmmm, Zelda Golf?  Octoroks on the course... sand traps with Leevers... a Navi caddy... err... better not give them any ideas.

I must say I did enjoy Octoball Derby in A Link Between Worlds, though.
