You PS fans so desperately want that. Too bad out of the three, Sony is the most likely to bow out.

I certainly don't want Nintendo to exit the hardware game but Sony has zero chance of failure in 8th gen. Sony corp could go bankrupt with basically zero impact to PlayStation. It's largely independent and they would have a laughably easy transition to total independence as a brand. The numbers as early as 2015 should show wild yoy profits.
