There are a few website to buy psn cards codes directly (you pay with your card, 30 seconds later you get the code)
Someone on the forum gave me the tip, it quite helps. But the big in japan sale went in europe one week after NA, so we might get flash sales here now =O
Still, some publishers choose to only participate in the sale in NA, so if you are interested in a few games, it's your chance. (I got disgaea, odin sphere and p3 for 15 $ in the "atlus went bankrupt" sale)
