New Smash Bros Character to be Announced Monday

It's all about marketing. The new Smash Bros was announced over a year ago, if they had released the whole roster at that time, the hype around the game would be much smaller today.

I understand wanting to stagger it, but look at the Directs. They treat single character announcements are big deals with absurd detail. I can't imagine other fighting games treating it's roster this way. It's just really odd. If this is a huge surprise that no one knew about or expected, then it'd be justified. But the "unknown" characters have most likely been leaked for a while (and if they just show vets that should have been included in the first place >_> )

They don't treat their characters like that because they are nobody at the end of the day. These are only fighting characters here but they are in some of the biggest games nintendo has. So I am down for this. And all at once is no fun. If we knew everything for a game in one setting and had to wait a year it would have no hype and less sells.
