Who wants to make an estimate for total lifetime sales?
Assuming a new model in the near future and a price cut after that I can see the DS surpassing the sales of the GB in Japan reaching around 35M by the time its discontinued.
That would take an average of ~50k a week for the next five years, with said redesign and price drop I think that is quite achievable.
