You never know... after all, Mario Kart 64 and Diddy Kong Racing both released less than a year apart.

Indeed, although at least those two games released on different consoles.

But a DKR for WiiU from Monster and Retro launching around November 2015 doesn't sound far fetched to me at all, especially if this history of such a game is true:
