It's not necessarily the problem here, the problem is that Sony is spending a lot of money advertising an older game that they quickly remastered because they were ill prepared for the summer release period. If TLOU was just a side game with a release schedule of multiple new games, it would be fine. As it is, they are using a year-old title as their flagship title for the summer, which is a slap in the face for people who bought a PS4 for original content. Sure, 50% of people never owned a PS3, but what about the other 50% that already had one and want new games? That's the problem here.

And the problem with the first 3DS year was that Nintendo was spending a lot of money advertising an old game that they quickly remastered because they were ill prepared for the spring & summer & autumn release periods. If Ocarina of Time 3D was just a side game with a release schedule of multiple new games, it would have been fine. As it was, they were using an old title as their flagship title for the summer, which was a slap in the face for people who bought a 3DS for original content. Sure, most Nintendo fans were totally happy with that remastered classic, but what about the others that already had played the original a hundred times and wanted new games for their new handheld? ;)
