Precisely.  I wish more people would realize this.

Also, to all of the people asking why we need two kart racers or how different could a DKR game be, I assume that many of you never played the original DKR on N64.  Despite being a kart racer, with its adventure mode, boss races, coin challenges and different vehicles, it actually felt quite different from Mario Kart 64 (and, IMO, DKR was a much better game).  If Monster and Retro followed suit on the sequel it could do very well for itself (and WiiU) if it arrived holiday 2015.
