They dont need to make an AAA game...

New games are needed in order for the industry to move forward.

New games, new ideas, new perspectives.

New original games attract new people into the gaming scene and sequels makes sure the ones in it stay.

Remasters wont attract new people or make gamers more excited.

-They can't make any new game between development.  They need to sit down and talk about what they are going to do.  In the meantime they can remake a game easy.

-New games are also needed for remakes.  So, it isn't possible for the market to just become remakes.

-I agree, but where is it happening that remakes are holding back new titles.

-Remasters do, of course attract new people.  TLoU will attract - Xbox 360 only gamers, PC gamers that need 60 fps, people that were expecting a PS4 version.

That's very potentially a large market of new people.

Remakes are one thing, but we`re talking about remastered games. There is no need for them what so ever. If there ever was a need for them, it would be for games that run horribly and is basically unplayable.
