No, there is a limit to the viability of remaking a game. And it certainly isn't bad at the extent to which it is viable.

[This way companies create new content, spending lots of money and they are risking bankruptcy. Consider if a company spends $100 million and only brings $20 million back. That type of attitude will make companies go bankrupt and millions of people will lose their job. They should stick to making remakes of old games.]

The reality is that there is room enough for both, and remakes are not going to be overused because they aren't viable enough to be overused.
