Well, whether you say that MS is concentrating on the west or that they could care less it really doesn't matter, as the difference lies merely in the semantics and phrasing. Either way, i think that it is probably a smart idea for MS to not really do a whole lot in japan b/c they will just have that much of a harder time in a foreign culture, up against 2 other strong competitors on their home turf.
