at this point probably a temporary cut over the holiday season instigaed by retailers rather than sony or microsoft, neither company really have any reason to further drop the price of their last gen systems now, all it would do is canabalize their newer systems sales.
Until of course they get dangerously close to EOL in which case an official pricecut would clear out remainin stocks.
