Yeah, I think Wii U will definitely be more of a slow burner, more than the typical Nintendo console, and MUCH more than the Wii's quick peak. Just look at the 2015 lineup. It's insane. That will definitely raise the Wii U sales. But at the end of the day, this is Nintendo and they have a history of cutting the lifespan of their consoles to 5 years, whether it's a massive success or a horrible failure, so a large part of it will depend on that. But still, I think eventually Wii U will gain momentum which will push it past Gamecube and even get it close to N64 levels, though it won't pass N64.
