 My comments was strictly on graphics. I don't really consider performance to be a factor of judging gasmeplay unless it's a case where the performance is so bad that it actually has an adverse effect on gameplay, like RYSE for example. Just becuase a game isn't 60 FPS, that should not be a judging factor on whether it is good. 30 FPS is perfectly fine, where 60 is just a bonus.

 

Does directly impact on how the game plays though. resolution doesn't. Racing games are better for 60fps than they are for 1080p. If you disagree fair enough, but it would certainly say you're not as much of a racing game enthusiast.

It does if, as I mentioned, the frame rate is bad. 30 FPS is far from bad, even for a racing game, particularly a driving sim like DriveClub. The only genre where I'd say 60 is an absolute must are fighting. You are correct though. I'm not much of a racing game enthusiast, but DC might get me into the genre.
