Its not like badges have any use (just like trophies and achivements etc.) so I dont care.
Nobody needs stuff like that and its just some kind of pseudo reason to keep coming back/playing a game etc. If it would unlock stuff (e.g wall of unlockables in smash) it would be better but then what should be unlocked? Stuff like color for your name is as useful as having the badge itself it should be something of value that makes the experience better.
