I also know that pc's simply can't hit that level of optimization because no one makes pc games simply to appease the 1% of pc gamers who can actually play them the way we all want to. |
It's a lot more than updated textures and god rays. If you didn't notice (you obviously didn't watch the full video), they completely redid weather, they upgraded the sky, the entire world is more lush due to the meshes for the plants being upgraded, etc.
Just because you are the "ultimate gamer" doesn't meant that you can be wrong sometimes. No one makes games just for PC, and that's where modders come in. They show what PCs are really capable of. And that was a last-gen game.
