The amount of positive press for Nintendo lately is mindboggling to me. After enduring years of either bad press or no press at all, suddenly people are talking positively about the Wii U, and Nintendo in general. I like it, I'm just not used to it. A gaming platform's sales momentum is hugely influenced by society's perception of the platform, so while one review from Kotaku praising it might have minimal influence, having a whole website now on its side would have noticeable influence, and having a ton of positive exposure on the internet from a variety of sites could have a very big impact.
