You're forgetting about the crown! That precious crown!

That is fun, but NSMBU lets you steal so much more from other players so much more easily (Lives, powerups, yoshi) and cause much more death to your felllow players with jumps, throws, and stomps. Using boost mode to block out your friends is pretty hilarious too.
