Hmmm I dunno. X1 with huge exclusives will be alot closer this year than wats its been doing in the past couple months and dont count wiiu out as SSB>>>>MK8 in the hardware department. Also japan will probably be alot bigger this year holiday then last year.

What huge exclusives does it have? I wouldn't call either The MCC or Sunset Overdrive "huge" (and this is considering the rumored bundle for the latter). They'll be notable, yes, but they'll be offset by continued PS4 momentum and the Destiny Bundle.

Realistically, there's no other scenario I see changing the outcome. I imagine a close US battle (with the PS4 still leading), but in EU (Others incl.), there won't even be a point for discussion. A $100 price reuction would do the trick, but I seriously doubt that $299 sweet spot is coming anytime soon. For either machine.

Now as for the WiiU, it too will have a very strong holiday, but I don't see it being close to the PS4 at all. 


If SSB launches in Nov it most likely will. This includes Japanese sales which should be huge. Not saying it'll be close but its definitely possible. SSB will be te biggest HW pusher. Also if MK8 does get a bundle in japan for the holiday it can do twice as well as 2013 #s.

Of course we'll have to wait and see

As for x1, i think tht MCC will be a huge hw pusher. It should be close though! PS4 will most likely win of course :0
