Is it just me or are games getting shorter?

It's not just simply a matter of us getting better at games. It's also a matter that we're learning the logistics of the universe belonging to each series. That is the reason we keep going back to those IPs no matter how often we've seen them. They always have a sense of familiarity because there are always basic fundamental issues that carry over from game to game.

Of course, this also means we can run through those games much faster than their predecessors.
