They are projecting low overall profits for this fiscal year and the next, and it's going to be the 3DS that is going to push them into the black (if they manage to post a profit). Wii U is a lossleader with no hope for software sales to make up for it towards the end of its lifecycle. The final loss once all is said and done won't be big, but it will be a loss nonetheless. |
The Wii U is already selling at a profit now though.
