No, small teams being too ambitious are killing themselves. And CoD last gen, that was killing anything in its path.
Seriously though, many gamers have this erroneous idea that anything that isn't top budget, AAA games are bad or not worth the time. If anything, all the PS+ indies that I've gotten since the beginning of this year have showed how smaller titles can help consoles during droughts.
